Teach students to express themselves through visual arts. Provide an exciting classroom experience to students during art sessions. Maintain files and grades of students,including artwork and art portfolios of students. Assess, evaluate and grade students’ performance in arts subject. Provide art supplies and materials to students. Meet students’ instructional needs and goals in art subject content. Maintain and manage inventory control of art supplies and materials. Assist and support school administration in running the art classes in an effective manner. Design and develop art curriculum and course materials for art teachers. Deliver lectures and interactive media presentations to students on arts and its many forms and traditions. Maintain a digital interactive classroom space for students. Communicate with students, parents, and community. Additional responsibilities include: Instructional delivery of content: drawing, painting, computer graphics, sculpture, training, research, curriculum design and implementation, technology use and adaptation, history, lesson planning, classroom management, document management, presentations, organizing and ordering materials, physical space management, and student discipline. http://shsvisualarts.weebly.com/ Show less
