Worked on a variety of IoT projects that required a combination of hardware and a companion android mobile application. Gradually developed communication skills by interacting directly with clients (in-person and virtual). Discovered my ability to successfully translate client requirements into working solutions with planning. Some of them are listed here, 1. CSSM : Portable device for construction worker safety. 2. STFS : Truck live tracking and fuel monitoring system. 3. Smart manhole system (Proof of concept) Show less

Worked as an external guide / mentor at GEC Valsad to empower Civil Engineering students with IoT and programming knowledge for two SSIP (Student Start-up and Innovation Policy) projects on a contract basis. The projects were, 1. Smart Manhole System - A device that uses a combination of different sensors to detect hazardous and flammable gases and alerts local authorities in order to prevent distasers, as well as monitors sewer levels. - This device periodically sends data to cloud, which can be monitored remotely using the companion android app. - The primary use of this device is to monitor remote manholes and sewers that may have blockages and fill up with flammable gases, just waiting there for distasers to happen. 2. Smart Construction Monitoring System - A device that monitors different aspects of a a live construction site and periodically sends data to cloud, which can be monitored remotely using the companion android app. - This device is attached with a relay system that triggers water pump to release water periodically. The time period is also adjustable via mobile app remotely. - The primary use of this device is to monitor the construction site when no one's around and operate things remotely. Show less
