My role was a protective services officer at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. In this role, I am part of an emergency response team that respond to incidents across the hospital. These incidents vary from takedowns and restraint of a patient in the mental health department to responding to fire alarms within the hospital. I also provide CCTV monitoring throughout my shift liaising with other officers on the floor who are looking for suspects or searching for footage on incidents to provide a copy to be given to the Queensland Police.
