After interviewing several IT companies to join us in our start up, we were left feeling, well, less that confident with what we heard. Project Joy is a charity whose sole objective is to re-purpose retired Phones and Tablets for use in Senior and Long Care Living Centers. This allows the residents of these centres to communicate with their loved ones without the financial burden of purchasing devices or the technical burden of operating them.My role as President is to set device requirements, streamline setup and implementation of the devices and act as technical liaison with the care centres receiving these donations. I work with our team of volunteers on developing fundraising initiatives and to raise awareness with our local business community.
