  Argus Re-engineering Argus is a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) whose main business is the processing of prescription claims from pharmacies around the United States. Each project must support Argus’ “Point of Sale” system and its capability to process at least 80 prescription claims per second. Completed a complete redesign of the Prescriber system which is tightly integrated into the Point of Sale system. The main effort for this project was web-based, developing a completely new feature rich front-end, and core claims processing on the mainframe. Selected to lead a complex project at Argus to adjust claims. The project will adjust as many claims as the customer chooses. This project touched the most critical areas of Argus' systems. The initial phase and a subsequent phase of the project were successfully installed to production and are being utilized by customers regularly now. Led a group of associates from offshore (India) and completed a large conversion of a business critical ADABAS file. The results of coordinating the US team efforts with those from the India office were very successful. Show less
