I have been extremely lucky to work with Javier for almost 4 years at Conde Nast Digital. Javier was a fantastic mentor to me during this time and has helped shape the designer I am today. His passion, attention to detail and care for his work shines through, from early conception to completion. His knowledge of his field and enthusiasm in testing and trying new technologies I would say is one of his many strengths. He has put together and set up many fantastic processes allowing designers and developers to work hand in hand, and is never afraid to speak up and contest something he believes to be wrong. I have watched Javier grow from a Digital Designer to Head of Design, and his will to succeed and progress are admirable. During his time as Head of design Javier took on a large amount of responsibilities in a professional and concise manor. His communication skills and dedication to his team are second to none and I would highly recommend him. I only hope I get to work alongside him again in the future.

Javier was an integral member of my design team, I totally trusted him to always deliver high-quality work. He has an endless appetite for wanting to learn new skills and tools, which meant he pushed the rest of the team forward with new ways to work. He’s a quick worker, whether he’s thinking, coding or designing but at the same time has great attention to detail and produces beautiful work. He always stays on top of what is going on in the industry and outside of it and he brings a lot of ideas and inspiration to any project. He’s hard-working and seriously passionate about design, but he’s also one of the funnest people I know and he had our team smiling every day.
