At the moment like many stagehands I have no one job, nor do I work at one location in a given month. I have had many hats and titles through out my career. I try to learn as much about the new techs that come out as well as the older and still necessary methods. May 2012 - May 2012
This was a long run of work for me. This is my first time as a head rigger for a show and all went very well. Working for El Museo and the New York City Opera has been an eye opener. Its also great as I grow my skills and meet new people and make new contacts. Loading in and out this show is huge. Having over 800 pounds hanging up in the air many times over is an exciting ordeal. It means you have to be on point with your orders and your numbers. Safety is the key thing to follow in this challenge. Show less

Stage Master: My Life with Men and Other Animals
-
Feb 2012 - Mar 2012
This was an interesting show to work on. It has been touring around the world for a while starting in Italy going through the US and back. I was running a pin rail for this show that I had to build in order to operate these various fly moves that would happen for the show. Some things flew up, some down, each happening with precision. In the end I became part of the show in some way because of the intimate setting of the space and where I was in relation to the audience and Maria, the performer(which is who dubbed me the title Stage Master). Great bunch of Italians to work with. Show less
