Confirm welders and welding operators are qualified to WPS being used and WPS submitted for projects. Verify calibration of weld machines and when necessary calibrate weld machines semiannually. Ensure all welding wire and welding rods are in a controlled environment. Maintain strict traceability of materials used for projects as well as update material tracking logs on a daily basis. Monitor in-process welding activities to ensure compliance with applicable code, standards and client specifications. Working knowledge of NAVASEA, ASME AG-1, AWS D9.1M/D9. 1- 2012, API 650, AWS D1.1.
