My initial tasks/responsibilities during this new adventure in Vietnam in a very different environment were:- Process improvement and Hybris Certification training for new developers (around 3 months)- PoC for Financial accelerator in collaboration with a Hybris partner in Australia.After settling down, I was assigned as a Solutions Architect for a new project in Japan where I was spending most of the time. Some of the tasks and project peculiarities were:- Hybris B2B project (Hybris 6.2) for a cosmetics and other beauty products supplier.- Run the discovery phase in Tokyo together with business analysts and project manager.- Define the high level architecture including: catalog architecture for products, architectural approach for main functions as VIP loyalty program, bundle products and other configured products, showrooms/in store purchasing flow, data model, integrations and migration.- Integrations with SAP ERP, Hybris Marketing and native mobile application.- Multiple payment providers including credit card and convenience store payment.- Assist the implementation team for technical approach. - Maintain communication and change request definition with customer.Currently I am permanently based in Japan on the discovery of a new project, a second hand car auction site that will to be replatformed in Hybris.

During this period I worked on a international cosmetic and skin care company, defining the integrations with third party systems.Currently working on requirements analysis and architecture definition of an e-commerce platform for a big airline carrier.

Team Lead / Senior Hybris Consultant

Leading a team from implementation to delivery of the product. I was in charge during this period of three different projects (in time sequence): big grocery chain, a business to business Hybris implementations and an international wholesale corporation implementation (Costco Taiwan). This allowed me to explore even further the Hybris platform adding B2B implementation to my previous experience. I was involved in discovery phase providing technical advice and architectural approaches to the different challenges. Complete exposure to customer as part of this role, working close to the delivery managers and stakeholders in order to ensure the success of the project. Main framworks/APIs/Technologies used during this period:Java 7, Java 8, Spring, Hybris 5.x, SVN, GIT, Rest and SOAP, MySQL, XML. Inegrations with SAP.

Senior Java developer as part of a team. Two main projects carried out during this phase, a big telco retailer and a big grocery store allowing me to explore another two completly different implementations after my previous experience on a big clothing retailer.As a Senior developer in addition to normal development activities I was involved in designig different areas of the application. I had to take ownership of bigger pieces of work ensuring high quility coding standards and delivery of that specific piece of work. Also I had a bigger exposure to the customer having to communicate with customer, give training, make presentations and other customer communication related activities.At the end of this period I also gained some experience supporting the running web site which increased my awareness of different issues and how to tackle them and how to avoid them on next developments.
