  Below are a list of my achievements: ► Orchestrated in conjunction with co-directors the growth of the entire business from a lowly 2-store £5M turnover company to a 12-store £60M turnover highly profitable organization; including a property portfolio and diversification into the take-way fast food sector. ► Astutely provided a complete financial service that included; statutory accounts / audits, payroll for 250 staff, management accounts, VAT returns, PAYE, director dividends, director tax returns, bank liaison, overdraft management, company secretarial duties and overall strategic planning. ► Diligently trained, inspired and managed a personally hand-picked finance team of 30 staff to ensure a complete and timely service was always provided to facilitate that the 6-company group was always prepared for routine regulatory requirements and possible expansion. ► Provision of pivotal advice to co-directors regarding strategic planning and tax mitigation; scythed through running costs making major savings at all levels. ► Managed the holding company’s £18M commercial property portfolio which included freehold shops; this included legal and insurance requirements, profit and loss statements in terms of bank liaison and new property acquisition. ► Assumed control of all asset finance which was a minimum spend of £500,000 per year; including up to 6 trucks and 25 cars on 3-year leases, ensured that overdraft facilities remained unused for this type of finance. ► Managed insurance costs of 120K p.a., utility contracts of 500K p.a., telecom costs of 35K p.a., credit card overall costs of 235K p.a. and legal fees of 100K last year. ► Significantly reduced the overdraft of £1.35M by an incredible 50% over the last 5 years by prudent expenditure and negotiations; agreed a 25% reduction in bank charges and 25% off credit card costs.
