Lead of Propulsion and Levitation
-
Jul 2019 - Present
Pushing the boundaries of human transportation was my main motivation for pursuing a career in aerospace engineering. At UTHT I have the pleasure of working with a team of ambitious engineers who aim to do just that. I am working as the lead of the propulsion team. Our team is developing two sets electrical and magnetically levitated systems. The electric motor is used in the initial prototype aiming to propel the pod in a vacuum tube at ~300 km/h and a future magnetically levitated system that dwells on the cutting edge of technology aiming to reach speeds up to 500 km/h.

Worked as a propulsion engineer focused on mesh analysis of bell nozzles in a solid fuel rocket. Having the chance to work at UTAT played a major role in my development as an aerospace engineer through providing me with the opportunity to learn computer aided design using Solidworks and getting to know the challenges of building and launching a hyper sonic rocket first hand.
