Worked as part of a small agile team creating a new product from scratch. Using cutting edge technologies such as Terraform, GitLab for continuous delivery, Gatling and Scala, Spring boot, Hibernate, Prometheus, AWS, Elasticsearch, Aurora, Liquibase, etc. I worked on the backend of the ticketing platform for the international markets (markets outside U.S.). The purpose of the product I worked on is to allow Ticketmaster to sell 3rd party inventory. It consists on a bridge decoupling our backend from the 3rd party inventory. I collaborated on a regular basis with teams in Quebec, London, Belgrade and New Delhi. The infrastructure of the project was in AWS and we used multiple availability zones and two regions for high availability and disaster recovery. We used Aurora database with master slave replication and cross region disaster recovery. Show less
