Currently Handling Databases:- • ORACLE 10g (10.2.0.4.0) RAC and ASM Database running on WINDOWS 2003 R2 operating system.• 2 Standby DR sites for ORACLE 10g (10.2.0.4.0) ASM Database running on WINDOWS 2003 R2 operating system.• ORACLE 11g (11.2.0.1.0) RAC and ASM Database running on WINDOWS 2008 R2 operating system.• 1 Standby DR site for ORACLE 11g (11.2.0.1.0) ASM Database running on WINDOWS 2008 R2 OS.• Implemented ORACLE 11g R2 standalone test database on RED HAT ENTERPRISE LINUX (RHEL) 6 and ORACLE ENTERPRISE LINUX 6.Duties and Responsibilities :• Create and maintain all database required for development, testing and production usage.• Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g R2.• Perform capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases.• Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS & its clients which access the Oracle database.• Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database 10g and 11g by using RMAN utility tool and Data pump utility.• Troubleshoot with problems regarding the database, applications & development tools.• Create new database users as required.• Remove Invalid Objects and Compile all related procedures and Indexes.• Maintained multiple database on the same servers.• Take export of schemas and import in the other schemas.• Create Profiles, Role and assign users to relevant profile as per requirement. Assign necessary parameters to different profiles.• Provide necessary privileges according to application point of view and maintain it.
