CNIT 242: System AdministrationIn this role I aided and evaluated laboratory groups in developing a Microsoft Active Directory business environment by providing feedback on lab reports, lab environments, and associated network and logical diagrams, while ensuring compliance with the APA style guide. I also held meetings with student groups regarding teamwork and next steps in their laboratory groups by advising on how to efficiently make use of time, encouraging collaboration within their teams, and teaching them how to use the knowledge they have to search for the solutions to their problems. Topics covered throughout lab included: creating roaming profiles, access control best practices, creating and maintaining domains, group policy management, backup configuration scheduling, and administration of network file shares and devices.
