Jason is the most creative composer and audio engineer that I have met. When I met him, he was immediately able to understand my vision for the album we were recording - which was a pleasant surprise to me. I don't know much about the music production process or it's terminology. When I left Young Chang R&D to work for Sonivox, one of my strongest reasons to take the new position was because I enjoyed working with Jason so much! I had worked with him in a previous stint at Sonivox (then known as Sonic Network) and we had a great working relationship. Although in different departments, we would discuss problems and bounce ideas off each other daily. At Sonivox Jason was largely responsible for the sound of our virtual instruments as well as the look and feel. Jason is extremely musical with a deep knowledge of audio production and the music business, not to mention a healthy dose of common sense. He is passionate about good sound and has won awards for film and commercial scoring. He was the face of Sonivox and the booth demonstrator at our various trade shows and could make the instruments "sing" but could also answer detailed technical questions, then on return he would give real-world feedback on what we can do to improve the products. I highly recommend Jason in any organization the values technical proficiency combined with outstanding creativity.
