Victoria Oakes „Jason is a stand out fundraiser, strategist and empathetic force. He is one of the most passionate people I know and is so well connected and does it in a way that is very natural. Loved working with Jason at Launchpad where I was a trustee for 4 years and we have stayed connected and he is always there to lend his thoughts on social impact causes.

Lucy Vallis „Jason delivered an excellent webinar to Home Office staff .The webinar was really well attended and created some great questions and discussions. Jason is an excellent speaker , he talks openly about his struggles and the impact on him - what I loved the most was the move towards recovery. It’s important that we keep that message strong. Recovery is possible and likely. Feedback from our staff was excellent. A* webinar!! so thank you Jason from all of us and we look forward to welcoming you again.

I am responsible for securing and growing corporate partnerships for Sport in Mind, a Reading based charity, set up in 2011 to improve the lives of people experiencing mental health problems through sport and physical activity. We are now the UK’s leading mental health sports charity and deliver physical activity (sport, walking, dance and movement, gardening and exercise sessions) projects in partnership with the amazing NHS.My role is to proactively cultivate and deliver an effective strategy to engage with the corporate sector and stewardship of existing corporate partners, while securing new relationships for future support in engagement and financial and non-financial donations, grants through trusts, foundations, direct giving and achieving the CSR goals of the business set out. Importantly to win hearts and minds by challenging the unconscious bias/perceptions and associated stigma of mental health to employees and employers so they see their mental health as importantly as physical health through lunch and learn sessions, mental health awareness, and in-turn, this could help to drive culture change.Ultimately, to engage and secure CSR and corporate funding streams by highlighting the work that all our amazing staff and volunteers do in order to aid recovery, promote mental wellbeing, improve physical health, combat social isolation and empower people to move their lives forward in a positive direction. Is your Company looking for it's next Charity Partner? jason.mcmahon@sportinmind.org
