Program Manager - Software Integration

• Lead a Program comprised of four main competencies: Software Integration, Software Test, Software Test Infrastructure and Software Quality Assurance, ensuring all software development product-wide is fully integrated and tested prior to its release to customers.• Responsible for the effective coordination of an innovative, diverse and global team of five Project Managers, two Software Architects, twelve Software Integration Engineers, sixteen Software Test Engineers and six configuration managers including remote teams in Taiwan and the Netherlands. • Collaborate with the Directors of Software Engineering and Software Integration to verify all software is fully tested, accurate, and an on-schedule delivery is confirmed. • Liaise directly with customers worldwide to provide requisite direction to the ASML team based on their feedback to ensure software releases meet our customers’ business needs.• Created and drove the test infrastructure roadmap; managing a $2.2M product budget for improvements, resulting in an improvement in software success rate world-wide from 29% in August 2018 to 94% in August 2019.• Trained and mentored the Product Owners/Product Managers of the two pilot programs to release Scaled Agile Framework® for Lean Enterprises (SAFe®), company-wide, resulting in the successful scaling of the enterprise process.

Senior Project Manager - Plasma Controls

• Led multiple Agile projects to deliver software improvements to drive the product roadmap for the Plasma Controls department.• Managed a multi-cultural team of two Project Managers, two Architects, seven Controls Engineers and twelve Software Engineers including a remote team in the Netherlands.• Advised the Product Team on the software development strategy needed to meet the plasma set-up objectives. • Delivered three new features within a year and a half that increased the plasma set-up success rate average from 50% to 85%; an annual cost savings of $5M.• Simultaneously and successfully delivered two high-priority projects to enable interfaces between other departments and plasma controls, allowing for automated droplet formation, positioning and targeting resulting in the reduction of the collector contamination rate from 0.05% to 0.02%; an annual cost savings of $7.5M.• Project Management key user for the plasma department.

Program Manager - Surface Search and Rescue

• Led the Navy-Wide Search and Rescue (SAR) Program, consisting of 28 SAR Evaluators across 9 evaluation sites worldwide, ensuring safety compliance and readiness for 1,059 Surface Rescue Swimmers onboard 157 ships.• Established and drove the DDG1000 SAR Program roadmap, resulting in the safe commissioning of DDG1000.• Trained and qualified 73 SAR Officers, resulting in an increase of the Navy-wide SAR certification average score from 83.4% to 96.8%.• Created and implemented 15 policy updates to two Navy-wide SAR instructions.• Established two new training facilities to ensure SAR swimmers receive requisite training, even when forward deployed.• Conducted all research, testing, and executed the approval process for two new vital pieces of rescue swimmer equipment.

Department Manager - Navigation

• Led a department of 23 personnel in all facets of the Navigation Program, Medical Program and 3M Program.• Safely navigated the ship through 67 restricted waters transits and a home-port shift, totaling in excess of 30,000 nautical miles, while leading and qualifying 6 Officers of the Deck, 4 Junior Officers of the Deck, 2 Assistant Navigators and 7 Quartermasters of the Watch.• Successfully completed seven navigation inspections, scoring 100% on each.• Achieved the highest departmental score of 95% on the ship’s navigation certification, Type Commander Material Inspection (TMI), and Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) Inspection.• Awarded a Flag Letter of Commendation for being selected as the Destroyer Squadron TWO THREE ship-handler of the year.• Ranked #1 of 7 Second-Tour Division Officers and #1 of 4 First-Tour Department Heads.• Received Commanding Officer’s highest recommendation for Early Command at Sea.• Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (Gold Star in lieu of Second Award).

Program Manager - Anti-Submarine Warfare
