      Responsible for the PSR at HMNB Clyde, ensuring compliance with the Defence Nuclear Regulatory requirements. Authoring and implementing a 10 year rolling programme of nuclear safety review. Responsibilities included control and scrutiny of the annual PSR budget plus strategy and process development.• Initiated the first rolling programme of PSR at HMNB Clyde. Identified the optimal sequence of facility review. Engaging all key stakeholders and gaining acceptance of the intended programme from the interfacing bodies before endorsement from the Defence Nuclear Regulator.• Achieved the successful award of 11 individual contracts from the MoD. By building good working relationships and with strong negotiation skills contracts were awarded in time to ensure continuity of resource and momentum to enable timely delivery of the PSR programme commitments.• All projects during three year tenure were delivered on time and to budget. With key personnel having polar opinions and characters, good man management skills were essential in ensuring the success of the projects.• Developed strategies and processes which will provide a platform for future success of the PSR programme. Strategies authored included the overall management of the PSR, management of findings and contract strategy. Processes included contractual approval, report approval and project review.
