I have worked with Jason for almost 6 years. When I started - he was my Director and lastly he was my department's VP. No matter the tremendous growth Jason had - he always was people-first person, he's always down-to-earth, very approachable person. Very empathetic and caring - always ensuring people feel safe and appreciated. Nevertheless, when hard times would come - he would expect excellency from his dev teams and would show good example himself - how to deliver quickly and on time but with high quality. Jason never showed signs of micromanaging behavior - therefore was giving a lot of autonomy for developers; but at the same time he would do everything in his power to help to grow if people wanted his support. I feel very lucky and grateful that I was coached by Jason!

A strong character that would get a team working together on common goals. I worked with Jason for many years in the development space. I was a Project Manager on his team and worked with him in the development leadership unit. Jason could always work on multiple priorities requested by the leadership unit, and he could see very clearly in challenging, chaotic scenarios how to work out a path forward to resolve the team's challenges tactically. Through the years, Jason's connected networks across the organization were impressive. Jason was always reaching out to get a temperature check on the team members and check in across different groups to ensure everyone felt positive, explain information with context, and overall support the organization. No matter how tense a meeting could be, Jason would always help break tension to support a positive outcome. I hope to work with Jason again if our paths ever cross in an organization or team!

Software Development Team Lead
-
Jul 2013 - Jun 2016
My responsibility is to lead various software development teams that range between 2 and 10 developers depending on the project at hand. I work along side my team to ensure that project time lines are met, but also that my fellow developers feel as if they're learning and growing as a software engineer.

Software Development Team Lead
-
Feb 2012 - Jun 2016
As a software development team lead I took on the responsibility of delivering our development sprint commitments on time. It was my responsibility to make sure the other developers on the team were free of impediments and could continue with their development on the project. I take developer happiness very seriously and worked to improve the atmosphere and develop programs to keep our team engaged and learning.
