Jason has proven to be a true asset to the Baton Rouge Gallery. Through his leadership, the Gallery has expanded its overall presence in and benefit to the Baton Rouge community. Jason's excellent management has resulted in greater fiscal health of the organization, increased creativity of programming, and more collaborative efforts with other organizations and arts leaders in the community. It has been a pleasure to work with Jason through the Community Fund for the Arts, and we are proud to provide continued funding to his organization.

Jason was such a pleasure to work with at Tiger Weekly. His writing is superb and I always looked forward to reading his next pieces. Creative genius!

Baton Rouge Gallery - center for contemporary art is a non-collecting nonprofit arts center whose mission is to "advance local & national contemporary artists and to engage Louisiana's capital city through unique cultural programming." A part of the cultural landscape in Baton Rouge for nearly 50 years, the organization presents 12 exhibitions annually, hosts a national juried exhibition and offers multiple engaging programs. As President/CEO, Jason is an ambassador for the gallery and works to add to the area's experience with contemporary art. This is achieved through quality presentations of works by primarily Louisiana-based artists, including musical, literary and performing artists, though the organization's primary focus is visual artists. He oversees all aspects of the nonprofit's management, working in concert with its Board of Directors, including exhibition management, event planning, fundraising, programming, marketing, donor relations, grant writing, art sales and more.
