Baton Rouge Gallery - center for contemporary art is a non-collecting nonprofit arts center whose mission is to "advance local & national contemporary artists and to engage Louisiana's capital city through unique cultural programming." A part of the cultural landscape in Baton Rouge for nearly 50 years, the organization presents 12 exhibitions annually, hosts a national juried exhibition and offers multiple engaging programs.As President/CEO, Jason is an ambassador for the gallery and works to add to the area's experience with contemporary art. This is achieved through quality presentations of works by primarily Louisiana-based artists, including musical, literary and performing artists, though the organization's primary focus is visual artists. He oversees all aspects of the nonprofit's management, working in concert with its Board of Directors, including exhibition management, event planning, fundraising, programming, marketing, donor relations, grant writing, art sales and more.
