  I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Virtual Vacation Programme for Clyde & Co from the 5th of July until the 9th of July. I was fortunate to get insight into the broad area that encompasses Insurance Law, while still being exposed to other areas of commercial practice. I also had the benefit of various skill-focused Webinars and sessions to adequately equip a future candidate attorney.   I was incredibly fortunate to attend the ENSafrica Virtual Vacation Programme that ran from the 19th to the 23rd of July in 2021. I had multiple presentations of the different practice areas from the firm's partners and associates, while also completing a task and a moot court competition. The week was incredibly insightful, made me aware of very interesting practice areas, and I was thoroughly impressed by their overall commitment to ensuring a high-quality programme for students during what was an ordinary working week for the different teams.   I had the incredible opportunity to shadow a litigation attorney from the week of the 10th of May until the 14th of May. Additionally, I was able to witness advocates handle a matter from start to finish during this period. I was grateful to be given an abundance of tasks akin to a normal candidate attorney while I was primarily engaged in the Litigation Department. I was fortunate to travel to the Johannesburg High Court Division, Pretoria High Court Division, and the Pretoria Magistrates Court and witness the ordinary court processes. Show less
