Technical Support Professional
-
Mar 1999 - Feb 2000
While working at MindSpring, I provided dial-up ISP technical support to customers via the phone, email, and teletypewriter (TTY). I specialized in providing support for Microsoft Windows 95 and 98, and Macintosh System 7.5 through 9.0. And, I built in-house "virtual apps" for the major versions of MacOS, which presented navigable versions of each OS's desktop paradigm via full-screen images embedded in HTML pages and clickable through image maps. These virtual apps allowed a non-specialist to click through the OS to relevant control panels and see what cues were needed to talk a customer through over the phone. Show less
