      Currently a Learning and Development Advisor at Coco Di Mama, specialising in coffee. I look after the coffee component of the business and ensure standards are met throughout our 22 stores. I provide training, both classroom and in store, to make sure team members have all the support and information they need in order to reach their full potential. To assist with the learning process, I provide multimedia content on a regular basis in the forms of tutorial videos, posters, process cards and online tests while making sure our methods are sustainable for when we reach a larger number of stores. The other side of my role is quality control which I achieve through audits and data analysis. Through this process I can identify issues in the business that need attention in order for us to maintain our high quality standards. It’s also a great way of measuring how effective the training is and if changes need to be made to my methods. I encourage our teams to be proud of what they do. We are in the unique position to change someone's day for the better, in just the time it takes to make a coffee. People seem to get caught up in the science of coffee which in its own entity is great, but great customer service is equally important. Success is when every customer walks out of the store with a great cup of coffee in their hand and a smile on their face. It’s an experience.

      While working as the Head Barista at Coco di Mama's flagship store, I kept being asked by our regular customers if I could run workshops for them. Once I was in the position to do so, I put together a beginners masterclass that is held once a month. In Funk N Grind, I teach the basics of coffee making while listening to old school funk. All profits are donated to charity.
