  During my employment at De Beers Marine, I have been given the opportunity to develop my skill set within the company. I have continued to develop my skills and experience managing and maintaining all inventory being delivered from suppliers across the country and abroad. Being part of the AMV3 team has enriched the knowledge around the mining sector and the process which attached to receiving and dispatching. Whilst being the Storeman for De Beers Marine, I would be responsible for ensuring all items being delivered to the warehouse are thoroughly checked from a documentation stand point and a quality check for potential damage caused during Transit. Occasionally I would have to make arrangements for abnormal loads to be offloaded/loaded at our sites and ensure all lifting requirements are met with the highest level of safety possible. All items moving to and from the warehouse would be logged onto SAP and for personal preference a excel system for tracking and record keeping purposes.
