Joon Kim
I had the pleasure of working with Jason on a variety of projects while he was at Perfect World. He was a member of a de facto "fire team", a unique group of key employees who we could trust to combat any blaze, right the ship, and restore order. I worked with him throughout his roles in QA and Product, and despite all the promotions and title changes, one thing never changed: his attention to detail, work ethic, responsibility, and creative approaches to performance and success. He was consistently picked among his peers to lead new projects, special projects, and never faltered when placed in the moment. In addition to his skills in production, he's dual-spec'd with multimedia skills and many a times lent his talents when designer bandwidth was low 😄 (sorry, bud!) I reported directly to Jason for a majority of my time at Perfect World Entertainment. Jason has a command of product life cycles and market behavior that is inspiring. Jason is exceptionally well organized and detail oriented. He was instrumental in my training as a Junior Product Manager and was an excellent resource on consumer spending habits and market behavior. Jason was particularly knowledgeable about data analytics and was able to stabilize the revenue of one of PWE's smaller titles. I greatly enjoyed working with Jason, and I think he is a tremendous asset to whatever team he is on.
