Developed Test Strategies and Test Simulations to verify the Link16 message processing. Conducted a successful NIWC Service Level certification test. • Senior Software Engineer supporting a government laboratory at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. As the Senior Software Engineer I communicate the status of all software projects to the government lab lead. • I develop customized software solutions to enable government testing of vendor equipment and software. • Develop software systems to simulate and stimulate aircraft avionics equipment. support the stringent timing requirements for avionics models that communicate on Mil-Std-1553B and ARINC-429 busses. • I upgrade both simulation sets based on user requirements and feature requests. I provide technical assistance to the users with the simulation environment and help with data collection and extraction based on their test requirements. • I investigate trouble reports to determine whether the root cause of the problem resides in the simulation environment or the system under test. I work closely with government and contractor Subject Matter Experts to determine the proper behavior. I analyze bus traffic from both the simulation and avionics hardware, providing written analysis when requested. Show less

I was the primary technical point of contact for the DARPA Project Manager. o I designed latency and throughput experiments and authored the final technical report outlining the feasibility of our solution and the results of our proof of concept tests. • I was the Principal Investigator on a Phase 1 Navy SBIR investigating the feasibility of using Neural Networks to perform simultaneous radar and navigation data registration. • I designed and conducted a proof of concept test, supervised a junior software developer, and authored the final technical report. • Lead Software Engineer for several small projects including the development of a UAV test bench, real time remote control of a CNC device for a simulation, and a simulation scenario development tool. I mentored and directed junior level engineers, oversaw code development, and developed requirements for the projects with the government customers. • I was the Lead Data Analyst for our group in a joint services test event evaluating the effectiveness of new track management software. As a member of a distributed team I helped develop the simulation test plan and test metrics. I authored reports and presented findings to relevant stakeholders. Show less
