Jason came on the DIL International Young Ambassador platform to share his knowledge and experience as a pilot. We have Ambassadors from the UK, China, Morocco, India, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Pakistan and we are still growing. Having Jason on was not only exciting for the young Ambassadors who range between the ages of 10 and 22, but also knowledge enhancing, engaging and very productive. He used his great sense of humour to embrace and dispel anxiety in the Moderators. He filled in any awkward silences understanding that this is a learning experience for the young Ambassadors. His laughter helped make it engaging in an uplifting way and his fantastic personality endeared the Ambassadors in more ways than one. For some young minds, inspiring and motivating sessions like this help build self esteem and confidence in more ways than one. Jason was patient in answering questions from the younger ones and also in building a rapport with the older ones on issues relating to cultural sensitivity in various countries visited. He encouraged the Ambassadors to focus on plans but also to understand that there are many routes to accomplishing career goals. If one phrase can encapsulate Jason's personable skills it will be, 'down to earth'. All in all it, was a great success and we look forward to continued engagement with and from his especially as he now sits on our platform as a professional mentor. Thank you!
