Completed 100 hours of in depth statistical training. Focus was to prepare to be able to complete deep dives into problems using multiple statistical analysis techniques. I have training and experience in using Excel, Word, Power Point, Viso and Minitab programs. Goal of position is to be a point of contact for others in corporation to reach out to for analysis assistance to ensure the best decisions are being made within the organization. In the black belt role, I lead multiple improvement projects at a time. I have worked on projects that are single plant specific as well as projects that are division specific. I have lead a project that worked on a single issue within two divisions containing a total of seven plants. Project Results: Project was focused on lowering and controlling Non Working Slow Moving Materials The percentage of unsellable lbs vs. total Lbs in January 2016 for both BU’s and the overall project are down as compared to the baseline average. Division #1 moved from 22% to 18% Division #2 moved from 31.6% to 23.3% The combined project moved from 31.25% to 30.80% The total predicted cost savings for the event is $365,000. Project Results: Project focused on utilizing a non prime material more efficiently The average percentage of Non Prime material produced vs. total Lbs produced in November 2015 was down from 8.18% to 3.51% This equates to a total reduction in raw material cost in November 2015 of $35,936.72 The monthly predicted raw material cost savings is $45,000 The total predicted raw material cost savings for the event is $640,000 Show less
