Within this role I manage several large programmes across the leisure facilities of North Down. I have over 20 staff under me and manage all elements of their employment from regulatory training, work schedule, and personal development through a staff management application called SAP. A key role has been to develop products for the local community based upon their need, considering cost, expectation, and our expertise and agree sales & business plans for these.I utilise regular individual and team meetings to review performance and develop and execute actions plans for change or improvement. Weekly team meetings would be held to address issues, and toarrange repurposing of the workforce to address long and short term need. Recently I worked alongside the other senior managers to develop a long-term strategy and delivered this to localstakeholders and local media.I conduct regular analysis of financial efficiency, quality of delivery and utilisation of our staff and facility resource using applications such as our business intelligence tool Legend (provides graphicdisplays of complex data). I also have experience of Power BI. This analysis allows me to optimise workforce utilisation and present info clearly to key partners and more senior managers.Another element of my role is managing key stakeholders such as council, PHA, schools and sport governing bodies. In March I was seconded to help launch of the Covid static site at the Odyssey Arena Belfast. My role here was the development of an efficient and safe process in administering Covid 19 self test kits.Other responsibilities involved managing staff to oversee the inventory and logistics of components vital to the continued running of the site, daily reporting to stakeholders at the highest level of government using Excel and PowerPoint as a business intelligence tool, recruitment and training of staff, development of operational policies & checklists, and submission of weekly working hours and payroll. I started my own Football Coaching company in September 2017 to deliver the highest level experience to young footballers who are serious about progressing their ability. I created several different streams of revenue for the company including schools programmes, club consultancy, and the main project, the skills academy, which at one point had over 60 children attending weekly. Our holiday programmes were a mixture of physical/social and technical development all created with fun at the centre of the programme. I captured and created all digital content and taught myself how to use Adobe After Effects and built my own quality website using Wordpress.
