I serve as the chief legal advisor to the California Gambling Control Commission which is the primary regulator of controlled gambling in the state of California along with our sister agency, the Bureau of Gambling Control in the Department of Justice. I supervise a small but dedicated team of attorneys who strive everyday to provide the best possible legal advice to to the Commissioners, Executive Director, and Commission staff. In addition, my legal team works diligently with attorneys within the Attorney General's office and applicants to provide fair evidentiary hearings to applicants before the Commission.
