As a Multi-Engine Flight Instructor, I had the pleasure of working with Jason as he pursued his AMEL commercial add-on. I was immediately impressed by his work ethic, professional approach and intellect. His passion for the dynamic environment of aviation became immediately apparent through his detailed preparation for each lesson, making him a very quick study. As I got to know him further, I wasn’t surprised to find his pilot logbook didn’t tell the whole story. With over 15 years’ experience in the USAF as a Flight Engineer his knowledge level consistently surpassed pilots having accumulated a similar number of hours. We continue to work together to expand and develop Jason’s knowledge and experience as he works towards his CFI Certificate. I have no doubt that Jason would make an amazing commercial pilot for any employer lucky enough to hire him. His technical expertise and work ethic will be an amazing asset to any flight department.

I've come to know Jason well over the years. Our USAF squadron relied quite heavily on his ability to execute demanding four-star airlift missions around the globe, often in combat conditions. When I first met him in 2011, he painted a vivid picture of his plan to progress from student pilot, then on to private, commercial, and ultimately an airline transport pilot. Unlike many others I’ve met with this dream, Jason is one of the few that made it a reality with incredible determination and sacrifice.
