I am employed in a dual role as an instructor in Drama to elementary and junior high level students and at the high school level as an ELA teacher. My drama instruction includes the disciplines of writing, improvisational acting, scene analysis, and development of teamwork skills. In English Language Arts, I teach American Literature to high school students. Disciplines in English class include journal writing to develop critical thinking skills, and independent tasks, which help prepare students to work with material in a number of different ways. Each discipline involves instructing students via a number of methods ,including teaching physically present students and remote learners at home. My goal is to provide material, continuity, and a sense of control in an educational environment that is currently in flux.

    • Substitute French Teacher
      • Feb 2020 - Jun 2020

In this position, I taught in-person and all-remote to high school students of all grades. From February to April, I taught French 1-4, providing a Francophone environment in the classroom and assigning work to students when classes went remote. From April to the end of the school year, I covered a number of English Language Arts classes, following guidelines and creating content for students, and well as creating a final exam for certain classes and finalizing grades for the end of the year. Upon the return of school in the Fall, I became an official member of the school faculty.

My work involves interacting with Credit Union members to open and maintain accounts. This requires getting to know members and understanding their needs. I have established working relationships with many members, and try to embody the philosophy of the credit union to help people make good choices with their money. I have used my linguistic ability in French to work with members for whom French was their first or most proficient language.
