    • Staff Development Specialist
      • Oct 2006 - Jun 2011

My role as the Staff Development Specialist further solidified my passion for the Learning and Development sector of HR. My primary accomplishments included the revision and expansion of the L&D program at UNCG. This included the development of learning maps (curricula) leading to certifications, writing and facilitating 90% of the workshops within the learning maps, coordinating external training opportunities to supplement the learning and development experience, and ensuring transfer of skills through follow-up activities and coaching opportunities. An additional leadership role that I served during this time was Chair of Staff Senate where I led the revitalization of the Senate through improvements in communications, voting procedures, staff recognition, and university, policy and community involvement.
