Improve the publics perception of the Liesbeek River as an asset and not a drainage tool in an urban setting. To achieve this we look to create awareness about the river's surrounding environment by rehabilitating, where possible, the banks and in stream environment. These tasks include removal of invasive vegetation, re-planting of indigenous species, sampling the aquatic biota, and monitoring water quality.
