Designed and implemented strategies for the discovery of dark matter. This research focused on the construction of detectors for cosmic rays, specifically weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs). I learned how to design and work with both high (3000psi) and low (-10^10 torr) pressure vessels, electric field simulation, cryogenics, temperature control, target design, and other various aspects of general lab apparatus.
