Director of Quality Control

Jan 2011 - Sep 2012
I owned the responsibility of creating and furthering the development of the department. I managed the department with upwards of 5 direct reports who were my auditors but oversaw and was responsible for all production related quality. Documented all quality incidents and spoilage so we could report and feed the info back and put corrective action plans in place to help prevent future incidents. Developed client and vendor relationships to develop growth, understanding and development. Delivering Peace of Mind. Show less

Sample Manager
-
Oct 2008 - Jan 2011
As the Sample Manager I was part of a team that defined our Sample Department that exists currently today. The Sample Dept is responsible for completing a sample schedule that is set daily by the Sample Coordinator. On average 3 to 5 samples are completed daily and sent out for approval. We have a experienced and talented team that reviews the sample process right from the art to the press making adjustments along the way keeping the customers and press operators in mind. The Sample Dept is also responsible for R&D to help keep us on the cutting edge of efficiency's and innovation. Show less

Press Supervisor / Operator
-
Oct 1996 - Jan 2005
During this time period I covered a lot of ground. In the earlier years I was part of press crew learning the equipment and developing my skill set. I later became a Press Supervisor that allowed me to further my growth. While being a Press Supervisor I was able to grow as a printer and learn a new skill set. I learned how to manage people and work load on small scale. How to make decisions good or bad and learn from them. To be a leader that employees want to follow and except accountability as that leader. Being a Press Supervisor became the foundation of where I am today in the Company. Show less
