Program Title: “An Intelligent Early-Warning Oil Spill Detection and Prediction System for the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea.” My work focuses on the implementation of a set of algorithms for the creation of the near-real time detection pipeline for the fully automated oil spill detection and alarm system on offshore oil refinery platforms, based on satellite data from multiple sensors. • Project Management. • Progress reports and presentations. • Satellite product pre-processing (Optical and Radar data). • Optimization of ML/DL models (Random Forest, DCNNs, etc.). • Hyperparameter search, Feature Selection, Anomaly Detection, Dimensionality Reduction. • Image data post-processing (noise removal, mathematical morphology etc.) and manipulation. • Data visualization. Summer Field Course in Geodesy

Practical exercise based on the whole knowledge of geodesy taught in the first four semesters. Practice included : a) Establishment and measurements of a geodetic network and a traverse, b) Detail surveying, c) Setting out of a road axis and measurements for its longitudinal section and cross sections. At the end of the field course, a technical report with calculations and drawings was submitted. Practical exercise based on the whole knowledge of geodesy taught in the first four semesters.
