I had the pleasure of working with Jason for a few years within CEC while he was a Regional Director of Student Finance. He takes a no nonsense approach to Financial Aid Administration that is matched by few. The experience he brings from years of working up and through various roles within the sector makes him a master at spotting irregularities quickly and formulating a distinct action to change course if need be. Jason proved time and again his innate ability to analyze and adapt through consistent reporting and feedback loops. He understands clearly the responsibility held by a member of the student finance community to the many stakeholders who rely on its successful administration. I would highly recommend Mr. LaBonte for any position within the Student Finance realm as well as any managing position which requires personable customer service soft skills coupled with a deep understanding of analytics.
