Assists the responsible officer for the S-3 consolidate memorandum receipt and funding. Assists the operations officer and battalion commander with detailed planning. Supervises the production, distribution, and submission of all orders, message traffic, and training schedules. Supervise the time-phased force and deployment data (TPFDD) planning and execution. Supervises the maintenance of the battalion’s war fighting and training publication library. Manages unit readiness program (URP). Maintains the unit’s training records. Supervises the request of ranges and training areas. Supervise protective measures to counteract the effects of nuclear, biological, and chemical contamination. Capable of performing billet duties during an approach march under an approach march load from an assembly area to an objective forty kilometers away in a time limit of less than eight hours.
