My team and I maintain the Agile Microwave Network Throughout South Australia. I am the primary Communications Rigger and as such preform a lot of tower climbing to maintain/repair equipment as needed. After Specialising in Fixed Wireless support and development of support tools with Internode, I was offered an exciting job within Agile. Agile is the carrier company for Internode and have an extensive Optical Fibre and Microwave Network. I was originally employed to be the escalation point for Wireless faults but over the last year and a half was offered training to allow me to gain experience in Tower climbing and Wireless Networking on a much large scale. Since gaining further qualifications was promoted to Team Leader and have been active in Outage Restoration, Point to Multipoint and Point to Point tasks. Key Achievements: Gained Qualifications in Rigging and Working Safely at Heights. Gained further training and experience in Microwave Communications. Promoted to Field Services Manager.
