  Zucci are a group of four Melbourne-based hair and lifestyle salons who work in close partnership with luxury hair and beauty brand Aveda. My role is located at the flagship Zucci St James Lifestyle Salon in Melbourne’s CBD. In my role as Executive Colourist I utilise my extensive experience to provide clients with specialist advice on their future style and colour requirements. I pride myself on growing a strong personal connection with my clients, providing a warm and friendly experience that ensures that they know their style requirements are in expert hands.My role also allows me to spend time helping clients to better understand the best possible Aveda products for not only their hair, but for their body and general wellbeing. The role requires ongoing liaison with Aveda’s team of product managers and training in new product lines. I not only work closely with a team of stylists across the store, I provide ongoing managerial support to the business, assisting with budgeting, targets, stock control and ordering and staffing.

  Located in the heart of Fitzroy in Melbourne’s vibrant inner-north, Zedi is a boutique hair salon with small creative team. My role as Senior Colourist at this busy salon was my first in Melbourne, during which I provided expert advice, customer service and professional hair colour. My colour work was brought to life using innovative and high quality products by Redken and Kevin Murphy. I worked with a small team of dedicated stylists and helped with multiple aspects of store management including front of house support.



Hue Colour Ltd

  Hue Colour is a New Zealand based specialist hair company, who focus exclusively on providing clients with professional expert colour services. Located across six different stores in the greater Auckland area, my role was situated within their flagship store in the fashionable inner-city suburb of Ponsonby. Working closely with owner Grant Stapleton, my work at Hue commenced as the company was in its first year, and I applied my expert skills to help to establish Hue as a new authority in hair colour in New Zealand. I was the Manager at the Ponsonby salon for the last three years of my tenure, during which time I oversaw a team of seven dedicated colourists, fostering a warm, friendly and innovative space for clients. The role involved:• All aspects of staff management, including team KPI’s and training;• Managing of inventory, including ordering and stock-take; • Overseeing all aspects of customer service; and• Financial management of the salon, including budgeting, forecasting, salaries and cash-flow.Additionally, through out my time at Hue I continued my work as Master Colourist, working with a vast array of clients who regularly returned to the salon for dedicated customer service and trusted advice on their colour needs. I prided myself throughout my years at Hue in working in close partnership with clients to create beautiful colour outcomes.

  Servilles is a world-renowned, multi award wining hairdressing brand based in New Zealand. As well as their internationally recognised hairdressing academy, Servilles Academy, they also operate four luxury hairdressing salons across Auckland. My role was based within the Takapuna salon.My career as a colourist commenced with Servilles and flourished across ten years as a specialist colourist. Working in partnership with a team of expert stylists, I honed my skills as a creative colour technician, as well as developing my passion for excellent customer service and friendly, trusted client relationships.During my tenure at Servilles, the salons worked exclusively with L’Oreal to provide luxury haircare products. Working in close partnership with colleagues in LOreal, my role developed to also be a product educator for colleagues across the Servilles group of companies. This aspect of my role included:• Visiting all Servilles salons;• Conducting group education and one-on-one training with existing and new staff;• Facilitating and leading formal seminars at the L’Oreal Academy; and• Managing salon education including product demonstrations, with expert knowledge on all of the L’Oreal products.
