P-MT has been in the thin film conductive coating business since 2002. We have the full scale capabilities/expertise of coating dielectric materials with a variety of metals such as aluminum, nickel, copper, and stainless steel. Markets include electronic medical instruments, aerospace applications, light diffusion processes and other experimental applications. We are UL Certified for adhesion on over 25 different substrate materials and have shown excellent adhesive properties on a broad range of dielectric materials from polycarbonate to glass filled plastics, to metal fiber filled materials.

NPI - Worked on both the design and manufacturing teams for 4 new product line releases in 6 years. These 4 product lines account for 65% of our division's annual sales which have increased from $30M to $80M in the past 6 years.Managed over 100 injection molds from development to release for production for 4 product lines. Managed an average annual budget of $600k for new molds.Managed the release of 2 production lines to Contract Manufacturer in Mexico. These production lines produced units that accounted for annual sales of $25 million. Designed and managed the building of 25 assembly line tools for 4 product lines. This work included designing the tools, sourcing the components, assembling the tools, testing and adjusting tools, preparing supporting documentation, qualifying tools for production, and releasing the tools to CMs. Managed our division's SQR (Supply Quality Requirements) to select vendors for plastic injection molded parts and compression molded parts.Worked with design team to improve part designs for manufacturability while still in the development phase.Managed cost reduction efforts with existing suppliers to reduce cost of plastic parts by an average of 5% annually. Managed second sourcing of components for cost reductions and quality improvements. Also, worked with design team during development phase for cost avoidance efforts.

Planned and managed the designing and manufacturing of over 45 molds in 3 years. These tools were used to release new products and improve the quality of existing products while reducing machine time by more than 30,000 hours.Planned and managed the purchasing and installation of over $7 million of equipment in 3 years. All projects were completed on time and within proposed budget. This equipment increased molding capacity by 25% and decreased manufacturing cost by more than $15 million.Consulted design engineers, continuation engineers, and project engineers on optimizing part design and material selection for molding process. Modified existing tools and equipment to optimize efficiency and part quality using hands on experience, tool history, part history, design for manufacturability standards, and tools such as Mold Flow Advisor, ProE, and Statistical Process Control. Managed the installation of 10 assembly lines in a Shakopee, Minnesota facility. These lines were operational in two weeks and increased the assembly of Fiber Guide Systems by over 15% to support $10 million in sales monthly.Analyzed sales forecast and determined capacity for molding area, ensuring ship to customer request stayed above 85% and ship to promise stayed above 95%.
