I was an assistant team leader who conducted sensitive surveillance missions along the Iraq/ Syrian border in support of OIF. A typical mission was a 5-6 man surveillance team infiltrating approximately 10 kilometers on foot and then digging a sub-surface surveillance site to observe possible enemy positions. Using military communication equipment, we would then confirm or deny enemy activity in our area of operation I was an assistant team leader who conducted sensitive surveillance missions along the Iraq/ Syrian border in support of OIF.
