Eric Nelson
Jason is an outstanding Veteran advocate and a friend. I have collaborated with Jason on numerous ventures and projects since I met him in 2010. I was fortunate to have been able to assist him in his transition from his Mechanic positions to school, and then from school to the Veterans' Northeast Outreach Center, where he has made a deep impact on many Veterans' lives and has excelled in numerous capacities. Jason is an "out-of-the-box" thinker and enthusiastically does everything he can to assist his clients and internal / external partners. He truly has a Veterans' heart and a passion to help other Veterans succeed. I rely on Jason heavily when I have an idea - He is my "I've got an idea, what do you think?" guy - the guy I go to bounce ideas off and he always provides honest, constructive input and feedback.
Daniel Badger
I have observed and had the opportunity to work with Jason in the areas of Veteran Counseling, Recreational Therapy, Grant Facilitation and Veteran Advocacy. He inspires those around him for his work with our fellow Veterans. His positive and selfless motivation for the betterment of the lives of the people he works with and for, is unparalleled. I have found him to be extremely knowledgable in the areas of state and federal resources available to veterans and moreover an innate ability to leverage that knowledge into actionable results for the Veterans he has served as an advocate for. Jason continues to raise the bar in counseling, therapy and Veteran outreach with the additional time he spends with various volunteer activities in the same arena. I am grateful professionally as well as personally for having been able to call him a colleague, mentor and friend. One can only hope to aspire to the highly professional standard that he has set for what it means to serve as an advocate for Veterans and be a true Community Leader.

Start of an amazing journey, the most humbling work humans can be involved with. This work requires a heart to start with and the empathy needed to be a Peer, mentor or advocate, while engaging all veterans at different times in their lives. I met some of the most amazing professionals during these years.
