Over the course of 25+ years in the c-store industry with stops at a few of the industry's largest chain retailers, I have certainly been exposed to many talented co-workers. The common thread for the ones I considered great was the demonstrated passion for constant improvement. Jason Gaddes is clearly in that category and his thirst for enhanced understanding of all aspects of the business was an attribute I always found refreshing. Due to his personal efforts; Jason has ammassed a broad and highly effective understanding of the industry and an intuitive view of how our business interfaces with the most important participant; the Consumer. While many Category Managers build a wall between themselves and the people they support, Jason is that special team member who was not only accessible to the rest of the team but consistently anticipated needs and offered solutions.
