Chief Operations Officer

Jul 2016 - Feb 2018
In July 2016 I was offered the role of Chief Operations Officer with Trinzo. From the outset I was involved in all aspects of the business be it Recruitment, HR, Accounting, Marketing and to a lesser extent sales. I was constantly developing systems, processes and templates. I was fixing things that needed to be fixed. As anyone that's been involved in a start up can testify that you are are constantly solving problems you haven’t solved before. Problem solving in an ever changing business environment is a core skill. Due to my personality, military training and expertise I am comfortable being uncomfortable which helped me to deal with what ever challenges were put in front of us as a team.Responsibilities:Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures;Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth;Establish policies that promote company culture and vision;Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication;Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.I collaborated with the CEO in Strategic planning and Business development. We developed a 3 year plan for corporate growth and evolution. We built the company from the ground up, generating revenue of over €5 million in year one to over €9 million in year two.I played a key role in growing the company to 35 consultants in its peak producing 50k billing hrs. Provided on site leadership to our team of consultants. Show less

Training Consultant
-
Aug 2016 - Aug 2017
I was a training consultant for a medical device company that was having compliance issues. I successfully Implemented a learning management system (LMS) for them that linked all of their operating procedures with their personnel. When a procedure went through the change control process the new document would be uploaded to the system and all personnel linked to that process would be notified of the change so they could be trained on the change.
