Ensure all prescription, insurance segment, and Medical Record information is properly entered to ensure a smooth and seamless transition of our Pharmacy Services. Coordinate regular conference calls to ensure all new business accounts are pleased with their transition, as well as troubleshoot any issues that may occur. As the Exchange Coordinator: Responsible for all aspects of the process known as the “Exchange” in a Long Term Care Pharmacy setting. Coordinate Billing, Packing, and Shipping Dates for the Exchange medications. Solve Customer Service related issues by communicating directly with our Facilities to maintain accurate and up to date orders. Streamline processes in an attempt to add productivity and reduce errors within all departments. Process reports and maintain databases in Compliance with the Medicare-Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Policy. Process updates, refills, and new prescriptions. Create Training Materials for different aspects of the Pharmacy. Assist with the training of New Employees, as well as Current Employees taking on new roles, including traveling to other locations to train other Exchange Coordinators.
