Jennifer Zacharias
I was fortunate to work with Jason during my time as a Senior Buyer for Target.com. Jason is an energetic leader who is strategic, solution-oriented, and a strong communicator. As the Senior Group Manager for all Home goods at Target.com, Jason has a complex role that requires him to collaborate broadly across the organization to get things done and also to demonstrate expertise in a robust range of products categories (furniture, textiles, hard décor, seasonal, etc.), which he does with ease, bringing a wealth of knowledge from his arsenal of retail experience. During our time working together, Jason has successfully led the development and launch of multiple new online brands by carefully building their brand architecture from all facets including quality standards, retail price structure, and aesthetic. His knowledge of both the consumer and the competition, along with his impeccable eye for trend, allowed him to build new brands that are meaningful and quickly resonate with the consumer and translate directly to increased sales and profit. Jason has been an exemplary partner to both me and my team of buyers, and I welcome any opportunity that would allow me to work with him in the future. His thoughtful and strategic approach to the business, collaboration and team leadership skills, and eye for design would truly make him a valuable asset to any team!

I’ve had the pleasure to work recently with Jason on Target’s Home style business. In my marketing role it is critical that I understand the key design trends and the innovation behind the products so that I can tell Target’s guests our best style stories. Jason was my design partner and he was an outstanding collaborator with the marketing and creative agency partners. He coordinated all internal design teams to pull together cyclical Home Style product presentations. He curated content to communicate key editorial products and provided advice for how to style them in our advertising. He also shared the trend inspiration and design technologies so that we could tell richer stories in our social media program. He is incredibly thorough, organized and his passion for design is obvious. His commitment to make sure everyone understands design is invaluable and he creates excitment on our team to tell our style stories.
