I am very efficient in any situation from triage to critical care. Working independently as an ER nurse I can manage the full workload of my patients and perform my duties as a charge nurse in a timely fashion. Working independently as an ER nurse I can manage the full workload of my patients and perform my duties as a charge nurse in a timely fashion. Additionally, I provide high quality patient satisfaction and have been nominated for the daisy award by several of my patients and a few co-workers. I am remarkably effective with my IV skills, medication management, EKGs, JASON BARKER - page 1 critical thinking, and trauma patients. I provide the highest quality of nursing care possible to all my patients while working in the fast paced ER. There does not seem to be an emergency medicine situation I cannot work through. Managed care from admission to discharge

In the ICU as a Registered Nurse, I went above and beyond to perform high quality patient care. It takes a strong smart organized Nurse to manage multiple IV drips on a sedated patient and manage their critical care as well. In the ICU the biggest issue is patient care, however without time management and knowledge of the critical aspect of the patient it is very difficult. I was able to perform the ICU duties and nursing care at the utmost level succeeding and performing well above the average. Furthermore, I can observe my patient for critical situations like managing the patient from an emergency code situation and can manage open heart, IABP, transcutaneous pacing and so much more.
