In my position, which I have held for 2 years, I supervise a staff of 15 employees. I am writing to recommend that you consider Jason for an IT Manager/Director role with superior hands-on experience with software development, server and network infrastructure administration, website/portal builds, etc. In all my 20+ years of experience, some people stand out for their great qualities and Jason is definitely one of those people. He is well known for his numerous qualities: intelligence, work ethic, positive attitude, teamwork mentality, leadership, diligence, loyalty, etc. He is well respected throughout the organization for being the "go-to" person for any IT issues/needs, for meeting short deadlines, for accomplishing impossible tasks, etc., and throughout the time I've known him, he has shown me time and again that he is a positive, motivated leader with amazing potential. During his time at Skinny IT, he played an important role in developing unique, custom web portals for a few Fortune 500 companies. Jason was also the key figure in migrating hundreds of on-premise Microsoft accounts to our Cloud during a company acquisition. Without his knowledge, skill set and leadership, these projects would have failed, and we would have lost twp of our biggest clients, Burger King and Jack in the Box. When Jason is given a task where he is not well versed, he throws himself into researching and learning the product/process and becomes very knowledgeable and successful very quickly. There was no task or project I had given him that he did not produce and succeed. This allowed them to order the hardware and installation. Using API calls to a tax service and credit card processor, full order payment could be done all at that time. This also integrated into the call ticket system and would generate the required tickets for their orders.- Using C#/.NET built Bridge program between FrontRange HEAT and StreetSmart. This allowed techs in the field to have their schedule and call information in the StreetSmart app automatically.- Using C#/.NET built profile import program for new vendors.- Using C#/.NET built Flat file (CSV) import tool for the ticketing system.- Using C#/.NET built a WinForms application that gave a real-time schedule on large monitors of when techs were scheduled to be onsite. The screen would live update and display difference statuses by different color definitions that allowed for a quick glance showing the state of the day's schedule.- Using C#/.NET built a WinForms application that integrated into HEAT that performed schedule checks to ensure the tech was not going to be scheduled into overtime, double-booked, had the skill set required, had enough time to drive to job from the previous call, and not scheduled off.
